Privacy Policy

Bunsow De Mory LLP (BDIP) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of visitors to our website. We established this policy to explain the information that we collect through our website, how we use it, and how we protect personal information. This Privacy Policy does not address information collected through other sources, such as in-person seminars, an attorney’s personal contacts, or email messages that you send to us.

This Policy only applies to our website; it does not apply to other websites (such as those that we may link to) or service providers.

Please note that your internet service provider or network operator may collect information about your use of the Internet (including our website).

You may choose to access our site via a VPN service, Tor, or your browser’s incognito or privacy mode to reduce or obscure the information collected by our website, by our vendors, and by others.

Information That You Provide Voluntarily

We do not require you to provide us with any personal information to browse our website. You may choose to provide us with personally identifiable information, such as though our contact forms or newsletter signup pages. If you provide us with contact information, we may use it to contact you, including for business and marketing purposes. We do not sell the information that you provide to us, nor do we share it with third parties.

Information Automatically Collected by Our Website

When you use our website, information about your use of our website is collected by our web servers. For example, our web server automatically logs technical information, including your computer’s IP address and other details regarding your computer and browser.  We may use this information, as well as analytics information collected in aggregate, to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing strategies, the performance of our website, and in connection with website administration.

Information Collected by Third Parties

Our website is hosted by a third-party vendor. We also utilize a content delivery network (CDN) provider to improve the security and performance of our website. These vendors log technical information related to your access and use of our website, which they may use to analyze trends, administer servers, track access, and gather broad demographic information regarding aggregate use of their servers and infrastructure. This information may also be used to ensure the security and operation of our website and our vendors’ systems.

We use Google Analytics to evaluate the effectiveness and use of our website and marketing programs. Click here to learn more about the Google Analytics Privacy Policy, the information that Google collects, Google’s “do not track” policy, and your ability to opt-out of Google’s data collection.

We use Google Fonts on our website, which may be served from Google’s servers. Google provides an FAQ regarding Google Fonts and user privacy.

Disclosure of Your Information

While BDIP seeks to protect your information, we may disclose information about you to third parties in limited circumstances, including: (1) with your consent; (2) when we have a good faith belief it is required by law, such as pursuant to a subpoena or other judicial or administrative order; or (3) in connection with efforts to maintain or enforce the security of our website or network.

If we are required by law to disclose the information that you have submitted, we will attempt to provide you with prior notice (unless we are prohibited or it would be futile) that a request for your information has been made in order to give you an opportunity to object to the disclosure. If you do not challenge the disclosure request, we may be legally required to turn over your information.

Security

The security and privacy of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.  Please do not disclose confidential or privileged information to us via this website.
