Bunsow De Mory’s Managing Partner Denise De Mory and patent litigation trial lawyer Elizabeth Day have been named to the Daily Journal’s list of Top IP Lawyers in California (2023).
Making the second consecutive year of recognition on this list, Ms. De Mory serves as lead trial counsel in intellectual property litigation for top technology giants, inventors and universities. Denise co-founded Bunsow De Mory over 11 years ago, and it remains one of a handful of formidable IP law firms founded and managed by a woman. She has tried many cases to verdict, including a patent trial that resulted in a $61 million verdict for her client, and obtained successful results for her clients in dozens of other matters. She has been an influential member of the Bay Area’s legal community for over three decades.
Ms. Day is a top trial lawyer with over 25 years of experience handling IP litigation matters. She has served as the first chair/lead lawyer on dozens of matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, handling motions for summary judgment, trials, and appeals. She concentrates her practice on patent infringement litigation, other intellectual property related disputes and commercial litigation in district courts across the United States and at the International Trade Commission. She is also an active member of the local bar, serving on a number of important committees that help shape patent litigation practice, including the Northern District of California Patent Rules Committee.
We congratulate Denise and Elizabeth for this esteemed recognition.
